Great Product - Confusing Product Information

When trying to decide if this model (3670G) was the right vacuum for me, I found a considerable amount of confusing information regarding it's features on the internet..and from the manufacturer itself. First of all, many online retailers flat out state (inaccurately) that this model has a "HEPA" (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter and at least one of the reviews for it here on Amazon (at least as of this writing) seems to indicate that it has one as well. I can tell you outright that having checked with the manufacturer directly and now owning one myself that it does *NOT* have a "HEPA" filter. More on that a little later in this review however.I found another confusing aspect of the description is in the model number (i.e. 3670G). Be careful to understand the difference between what Amazon calls the 3670 (also called the 3670A in some places) and the 3670*G* models. They look identical and appear to be identical (both are yellow and black) however the 3670 only has... 4/5 Aficianado, "Music, Film and Book Lover" (Washington, DC) - See all my reviews When trying to decide if this model (3670G) was the right vacuum for me, I found a considerable amount of confusing information regarding it's features on the internet..and from the manufacturer itself. WOW

0 5/5 KB (Columbia, SC) - See all my reviews This review is from: Eureka 3670G Mighty Mite Canister Vacuum (Kitchen) I've never written a review for a vaccuum cleaner, and couldn't have imagined ever even wanting to, but am happy to put my voice out there for this one. If you have hardwood floors and are, like I was, tired of chasing after dust/dirt particles that your upright BLOWS around instead of sucking up, try this vac. It's powerful and makes quick work of what was, before, a major chore. I have sisal and dhurie wool rugs which neither of the uprights I've had before would do anything on, and this vaccuum works beautifully on both of those surfaces, as well. This is a fabulous product at a really fair price. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 1, 2006

0 1/5 Ray Hecksher (DALLAS, GA, US) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Eureka Quick-up Cordless 2-in-1 Stick Vacuum, 96H (Kitchen) I have owned this vacuum for approximately 9 months and it has only been used to vacuum a tile bathroom floor approximately once per week. However, the battery has lost its charge and will not work longer than 2 minutes. For as little as it is used I would expect a cordless product work longer than one year. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 31, 2015

    EXCELLENT VALUE

    0 4/5 Customer Care, Eureka, February 1, 2015

Lasts a year - and better than some more expensive ones

Having also reviewed the Bissell Bolt 12v I'm actually recommending this good cheap cordless vacuum over one that has more featuresThe 6v battery actually has decent life and decent sucking power. Not as much as the 12v Bissell but once the Bisssel gets a little clogged (after pretty much EVERY use) this one is equal if not better. http://www.amazon.com/BISSELL-Lightweight-Cordless-Vacuum-1313/dp/B00LASI4BI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422811627&sr=8-1&keywords=bissell+bolt+blue#customerReviewsI'd love it if they took this model and upgraded with a true 2-in 1 vac (the long handle comes off but they need a smaller suction attachment other than the broom head) and perhaps increased the Volts and suction. But the overall design of the filter is better than the Bissell which has 2 sections where the filter gets clogged with dust etc - and the Bissell gets clogged right beyond the brush quite often. The Eureka only lasted me 1 year before the brush got... 4/5 Richard Vereb - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Eureka Quick-up Cordless 2-in-1 Stick Vacuum, 96H (Kitchen) SO HAPPY WITH MY EUREKA QUICK-UP. I HAVE HAD IT LESS THAN A WEEK AND USE IT EVERY DAY FOR SMALL JOBS AROUND THE HOUSE. IT SAVES SO MUCH TIME NOT HAVING TO TAKE THE BIG VACUUM OUT. IT DOES A GREAT JOB ON THE ORIENTAL CARPETS AND MY KITCHEN FLOOR. A GREAT TOOL AT A FANTASTIC PRICE. IF IT HOLDS UP I WILL BUY ANOTHER. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 1, 2015

Great Vaccuum! A Comparison to the 4870UZ (Bagged) model

I accidently purchased the AS1050A as a second vacuum instead of the Eureka 4870UZ, which I had also recently purchased, to be used in our basement, where our cat and I office together. So, I thought I would provide a bit of a review/comparison of the two machines.I will start by saying that I have finally donated the last of the three Eureka bagless vacuums that I have been using over the course of the last several years. This is not to say that the bagless machines didn't work, however, the cleaning of those types of machines was getting on my nerves. Moving on... and again, the basis of this review is more of a comparison to the 4870UZ (Air Extreme), which is a great vacuum.Assembly of the AS1050A was reasonably simple, and no tools were required. After assembly, I fired up the machine and immediately noticed that weight and handling of the AS1050A was both lighter and easier to handle than the 4870UZ. This could be a result of the fact that the AS1050A... 5/5 Michael D. Zabel (SE Minnesota, USA) - See all my reviews, February 26, 2012

    Great Vacuum for Great Price

After our bagless Dirt Devil Upright's brush roll gave out, we decided it was time for a new vacuum. I never really liked the Dirt Devil anyway, but moving on...this Eureka is a fantastic vacuum. It's attachments are very nice and it converts to various types of flooring quite well, picking up dirt and hair on both hard surfaces and carpet. A great benefit to it is the ability to change the suction to just tools or just floors. The crevice tool on this vacuum is thinner than on our previous vacuums and wet/dry vacs, so we were able to vacuum up dirt and lint from underneath our washer and dryer. The bag system is easy to use and change and it takes longer to fill the bag than it does to fill up a bagless vacuum's dirt cup. We were able to vacuum our whole house with just 1 bag being used and the bag still doesn't need to be changed. The only downside was that the brush roll attachment or "pet paw", doesn't work as good as one would hope, but that's true with all vacuums that... 4/5 Aquilus Domini - See all my reviews This review is from: Eureka AirSpeed Bagged Upright Vacuum, AS1051A (Kitchen) After our bagless Dirt Devil Upright's brush roll gave out, we decided it was time for a new vacuum. Lot of power for the money - and Bags are Better!

This vacuum definitely gets the job done as well or better than much more expensive vacuums, and the bag system is definitely the way to go. After using bag-less vacuums for years and dealing with how nasty they are and messy to empty, it's a pleasure to go back to the old school bagged vacuum. This machine has more power than our old Hoover or Dirt Devil, and I like the more direct air flow that bypasses the long hose when tools aren't being used. The bag drops in vertically and its opening is on its top, so it's easy to change and doesn't make a mess. If you are having problems with suction like a previous reviewer wrote, then check to make sure you've got the air flow switched to the appropriate direction. There is a big knob that switches air flow from the hose and tools to the upright head. If it's not in the appropriate position then you'll not get suction in the right place. The bottom line: This is a well-designed machine with extra-strong suction and bags at a... 5/5 Fun2Drum - See all my reviews This review is from: Eureka AirSpeed Bagged Upright Vacuum, AS1051A (Kitchen) This vacuum definitely gets the job done as well or better than much more expensive vacuums, and the bag system is definitely the way to go.
